2-Player Battle

2-Player Mode is a new mode introduced in Pikmin 2. There are two players, Captain Olimar and Louie. Olimar has Red Pikmin and Louie has Blue Pikmin. 2-Player Mode takes place in underground areas and the Onions will be underground. There are two ways to win, get four yellow marbles or steal your opponent's marble. There are 10 areas you can play in with a friend. Getting a cherry will give you a roullete wheel spin.

• OLIMAR/LOUIE IS DOWN!!!

Very rarely it can be a DRAW as found out when i was playing 2 player with a friend, can be done if you each have 1 pikmin and something kills them both

Roulette Wheel

The Roulette Wheel can be accessed when you find a cherry and cash it into your Onion. You will have access to 12 different effects that will help you and be bad for your opponent. When you defeat roulette enemies, you can't carry them to the Onion, they disappear after they're defeated. Here are the 12 roulette options.:

• Ultra-Spicy Spray, gain one dose of Ultra-Spicy Spray.
• Ultra-Bitter Spray, gain one dose of Ultra-Bitter Spray.
• Volatile Dweevil, a Volatile Dweevil will fall near your opponent.
• Fiery and Watery Blowhog, a Fiery Blowhog will fall near Louie or a Watery Blowhog will fall near Olimar.
• Withering Blowhog, a Withering Blowhog will fly near your opponent.
• Swooping Snitchbug, a Swooping Snitchbug will fly near your opponent.
• Marble, you recover your marble if it is stolen.
• Boulders, boulders will drop near your opponent.
• Flower, all of your Pikmin that are under your control will bloom.
• +5 Sprouts, you gain five Pikmin sprouts.
• +10 Sprouts, you gain ten Pikmin sprouts.
• Unknown creature, you become invisible for a limited amount of time.

Pikmin Arithmatic

Enemies found underground in Story Mode are also in 2-Player Mode, here is how many sprouts they are worth.

• Snow Bulborb, 4 sprouts
• Dwarf Orange Bulborb, 4 sprouts
• Breadbug, 4 sprouts
• Anode Beetle, 5 sprouts
• Careening Dirigibug, 8 sprouts

Some very amusing glitch amused me, sometimes if enemy pikmin are carrying something other than your marble,if you throw a single pikmin at the object it will help the enemy pikmin carry the item.
