There is an unused icon for a Green Onion found next to the other Onion icons in T_ui_Icon_Radar_L_000_NoMipmap_D(A part of textures for the [[Radar]] in Pikmni 4), likely meant for [[Glow Pikmin]] or the unused Pikmin type, Bean Pikmin.
In a spritesheet containing various icons for the [[radar]], there is an unused icon for a light green [[Onion]] after the other Onion types. It is unknown what it might have represented.

In the folder for the images of areas used on the [[saved game selection menu]], which contains images for all the [[night expedition]]s, there are unused images for night expeditions set at [[The Central Flame]] and [[The Maple Bridge]] in the [[Giant's Hearth]] and the [[Primordial Thicket]] respectively, which do not have night expeditions unlike most bases. Oddly, these images focus on the [[Lumiknoll]]s more than the night expedition save file images that are used, which show more of the area around them. The [[Distant Summit]] base in the [[Sun-Speckled Terrace]], which also doesn't have a night expedition, does not have an unused image.
Bean Pikmin are a type mentioned multiple times within Pikmin 4's code, being a unused Pikmin type. These Pikmin may be associated with the green onion, but it is not confirmed. Below is a image of the Bean Pikmin being mentioned in Pikmin 4's code.
