'''Toady Bloysters''' are slug-like creatures that are part of the family called Molluskings. They creep along the ground in search of food, which include your Pikmin: upon sighting them, one of these beasts makes a loud noise and unleashes 5 or 6 tentacles from its mouth that latch onto your Pikmin in an attempt to consume them. However, this creature moves at such a slow pace that just avoiding it is a trivial matter. In order to defeat this creature, it is best to attack the resemblance of a flower bud on its end, though pounding its large body with [[Purple Pikmin]] is a just as effective. It is vulnerable to swarming when [[Ultra-bitter Spray|petrified]], but its defense is significantly higher while in this state.

The Toady Bloyster is one of the rarest species of Pikmin 2, found only in the large pool in the [[Perplexing Pool]] that leads to the [[Shower Room]] and in the Giant's Bath in [[Challenge Mode]]. The one at the Perplexing Pool drops one or two Pellets of weight 10 of a random color, and the tail, which does not disappear like the rest of the body upon death, is worth 25 Pikmin if returned to an Onion. In total, you could get up to 45 Pikmin by defeating this creature.
