The '''Thirst Activator''' is a treasure found only in the US [[Region|version]] of ''[[Pikmin 2]]''. It is found on a ledge near the [[Furious Adhesive]], and is often located near the patrolling [[Gatling Groink]] on sublevel 7 of the [[Subterranean Complex]]. [[Bomb-rock]]s are plentiful in the area and can be used to defeat the Groink, after which the body should be retrieved immediately to ensure that it doesn't regenerate later while the [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] are busy with a task. The player may also choose simply to lure the Groink off the edge of the field into the abyss below to avoid having to deal with the corpse. It is actually a lid to either TreeTop brand apple juice or apple sauce.
