Munge Dweevil
Hi, I believe the Venom Dweevil and the Munge dweevil are supposed to be the same enemy. Their Piklopedia entries are the exact same besides their names. They likely had their named changed like the Wollyhops, and their appearance changed like the creeping chrysanthemums. Their pages should be combined.
Further, I'd like to add that the caustic dweevil also had it's name changed to Hydro Dweevil -KiwiLuvsPie
:The reason I don't think we should consider the enemies the same is because of p2s. That re-release renamed the Caustic Dweevil to the Hydro Dweevil, and Pikmin 4 uses the same name, implying the enemy naming decisions for these games were made together. However, that re-release did not rename the Munge Dweevil to the Venom Dweevil, and Pikmin 4 was the first to use this new name, so that combined with the new color makes me think that these enemies should be considered separate. — Soprano(talk) 04:15, July 27, 2023 (EDT)
::The dweevils are a weird situation because (at least in the Japanese versions; the translation muddles this a bit by cutting down on the piklopedia text and giving the dweevils different scientific names) all of the small dweevils are genetically identical, with the different colors and other physical characteristics like the poison gas developing over the creature's life. The "Venom Dweevil" has a different name in Japanese because it's green (and the small dweevils are mostly named after their colors in Japanese), and it has a different name in English because it has a different name in Japanese, but other than that it seems to be the same creature down to its genes and biology.
