:If there's no evolutionary drive to change their appearance, it's likely they'll go on looking the same. Horseshoe crabs have remained relatively unchanged for some thousands of years, and sharks and crocodiles haven't changed much either. And even though Unmarked Spectralids are a fair bit smaller than modern butterflies, they aren't the only things that resemble real-world animals. The plants, especially, are nearly identical to real-world plants. {{user:Jimbo Jambo/sig}}

It says in trivia that they only land on Mamutas in the Piklopedia. I've never seen them do this in the Piklopedia, but I've seen them do it several times in the story mode. :::Ok, I tried investigating, but actually reached no conclusions. Well... I do know that Unmarked Spectralids can land on several creatures in the Piklopedia: when I started testing today, there were US around a Bulborb in the Piklopedia. I'm assuming they can also appear around Mamutas in the Piklopedia. As for in-game... I'm very sure they appear around Mamutas.
