You know what?I feel bad for the plasm wrath...He was just lonely,so when it found olimar unconscious,he wanted to wake him up and make a friend.Then koppains come along,and our like "What is that monster doing to olimar?!He's in 'terrible' danger!".So it sucks it up olimar to save him...so after that,he attempts to get him back.In a final attempt to win him back,he use's his final ticket:Elemental powers.Eventually he looks up to the sky after being defeated and does what could be considered a wave goodbye to his 'friend' olimar,who is flying away with the koppains.Pikmin has a very dark behind the scenes...

My theory: The beady and raging long legs both disintegrate with some electricity and barely any liquid substance from them. Amenyuudou, he looks exactly like the waterwraith but in gold form. But, in pikmin 3, the ship doesn't have it's golden hull. Amenyuudou may have stolen it, as it steals treasure like the secret safe.

Another multi-phased final boss is the Titan Dweevil, which have, I think, at least 2 phases: When it have its objects and when it haven't. :The Vehemoth Phosbat is an example of another boss with two clear, defined phases, even separated by a cutscene- battling it in the dark whilst illuminating the cave, and battling it when the main light has been switched on- it behaves differently during this phase, both stopping to rest on the cave walls and appearing fully visible which it doesn't do in the previous phase. This is not an ''action'', like the Wollyhop argument given, this is a whole ''phase'' where the entire phase of battle with the boss has changed.

Ok, I'm going to say it, some of the bosses in the pikmin games have phases, not to be arguemental, but, the emperor bulblax (in pikmin 1), like I said before, does have two phases, after it gets down to less than half health it will go into its more agressive state. The waterwraith does technically have two phases, the state of having and not having its rollers. These examples are two cases of bosses having multiple phases, that being said, the plasm wraith is the only boss with clearly-defined phases that are shown by cutscenes.
