I just edited the WarioWare section, saying that the background music is the one played in the demo screens (not touching a single button on the main screen) on Pikmin 1. I don't have Pikmin 2, so for those who have: Is it the same music as Pikmin 2? If it is, edit the WarioWare part saying so.

Well, technically it does play during one of the demo screens in Pikmin 1, but it is also used as the "Louie's Dark Secret" theme in Pikmin 2. I'll just add that on. <span style="color:blue">Portal-</span><span style="color:orange">Kombat</span>

Ocarina of Time 3D
On the Zelda Wiki and even the old wikia Pikmin wiki they say that plants from Pikmin are hidden in Orcarina of Time 3D.I can't find any images on it but Id like to know if this is true.--Man-at-Legs888 00:49, 11 December 2011 (EST)
...........You do realise that game came out long before Pikmin, don't you? I think that part needs to go.
....U do realise the "3D" suffix, don't you? I think you need to read a bit more clearly.
And what the hell? Who is spamming about my Spore creations on this wiki? I haven't been on here in nearly a year! ShadowRaptor101 17:51, July 19, 2011 (UTC)
Skyward Sword?
What happened to the reference for Skyward Sword? The baby Olimar? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfuRPZF-QUQ
If you think about it, Olimar has made an appearance in two different game series as a baby. Do you think the devs put it in there because Pikmin is Miyamoto's baby? You know, like a joke...? Ellison
:It was removed because the only similarity between the Bertie's baby and Olimar is that they're both humanoid. Other than that, there are absolutely no similarities. Their eyes do not look the same, their ears do not look the same, and the nose, which would arguably be the easiest thing to make a reference is not even close. People might see the big blob on the baby, and fail to realize that that's not his nose &ndash; it's his pacifier. As for the Yoshi's Island one, the sprite is a bit harder to tell, so it's more speculative. But one thing's noting a potential cameo, while another is noting two things that are in no way similar. == Punis ==
What about the Punis from Paper Mario and the thousand year door? couldn't they be listed as a debateable reference? I mean you control at least 100 of them, (well they follow you anyway.) they have a "stem" and they're "Flower/Bud/Leaf" kind of resembles the light on the leaders antennae.
P.S. Mario Wiki makes note of this on the Puni page.Pikmin Theories (talk) 13:50, 10 September 2017 (EDT)
:I'm not sure... But I guess that's what the debatable references section is for. I'll add some info, then. &mdash; {EspyoT} 14:45, 11 September 2017 (EDT)
HT3 gameplay?
haven't played the game, but watche a video of the Hotel Transyvania 3 game, and the gameplay seems extremely similar to the Pikmin games.
should it have a mention somewhere or no?"Pikmin Theories (talk) 00:06, 18 July 2018 (EDT)
:Oh yeah, I was debating to myself if we should put it somewhere. I wonder what the best article would be. Probably this one, in all fairness. Feel free to start a quick section about it! &mdash; {EspyoT} 04:05, 18 July 2018 (EDT)
Kinda makes me wonder if the supposed Pikmin 4 somehow turned into this.......lolPikmin Theories (talk) 23:25, 19 July 2018 (EDT)
Play Nintendo website
The Play Nintendo website () has a ton of Pikmin content, such as activities, articles, etc. However, they're so numerous and clearly non-canon that it's debatable to what extent things should be documented, though I think it should at least be acknowledged somewhere (assuming it hasn't already). For instance, there's these garden markers:
Something to consider though is there's also stuff like articles on Nintendo's main website, social media posts, etc. that's also not thoroughly documented due to unimportance. Regardless, I think it should still be mentioned to some extent that Pikmin has a thorough amount of activity on this site, and maybe things like printables could be more thoroughly documented than say, articles on tips for Deluxe or uploads of already recorded promotional videos. &mdash; CrazyCow 21:51, January 20, 2023 (EST)
