In response to Espyo's edit of my edit - would it more correctly be termed as a glissando? The definition of that term is "a glide from one pitch to another." Would you characterize the "increase in tone" you are referring to as such? -

:Sure. The section of the song goes like C#, D#, F, F#, G#, A#. You can hear it at 0:40 in this less-than-stellar video. From what I gather, a glissando is a single note that increases in pitch as it's being held, so it's not a glissando or crescendo. There might not even be a term at all, but I'm sure it could be worded a bit better than how I wrote it. — {EspyoT} 07:40, 1 November 2013 (EDT)

:::::Thank you! Yeah, I guess I'll still work on the "to do" things, and eventually patch those up, but for now, I agree, they're essentially complete, until the next Pikmin installment. Scruffy (talk) 08:41, 21 July 2015 (EDT)

Boss battle variations
We've included the attack tunes in Pikmin 2s boss battle theme as separate parts, why we don't do it on Pikmin 3s Mini Boss and Boss Battle Themes? -
:Neither me nor Scruffy were able to get good sound bits of the song parts in Pikmin 3. — {EspyoT} 08:25, 17 March 2016 (EDT)
Track titles in Smash
All the track titles in Music in Pikmin 2 and Music in Pikmin 3 are marked as conjectural (since their soundtracks have never been released), but some of the tracks are named in the SSB series.
*Pikmin 2
**World Map - SSBB / SSB4 / SSBU
**Stage Select - SSB4 / SSBU
*Pikmin 3
**Garden of Hope - SSB4 / SSBU
**Mission Mode - SSB4 / SSBU
Shouldn't these be considered official names? I wasn't sure if I should made the changes myself or ask first. 147.135.30.24 18:00, May 15, 2024 (EDT)
:Song names from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been used in the Music in Hey! Pikmin article to name songs there. However, I don't think we should necessarily do the same for the other articles, since some of these official titles conflict with the way we name certain types of songs, such as menus. But these names should definitely still be documented, in the sections for each of these songs. A similar case to this is Pikmin 2 Piklopedia theme, which was released on a compilation album under the title "flora and fauna". We don't use that as the main name for the song, but we do document it. — Soprano(talk) 18:37, May 15, 2024 (EDT)
::I feel the need to bring up that we actually do use official track names in other places, specifically for the majority of tracks from the first Pikmin game due to the Japan only Pikmin World CD. -Gulliblepikmin 18:42, May 15, 2024 (EDT)
:::It makes sense to use official names for that game since every piece of music in the game is on the soundtrack album, but for the other games only a small number of songs have official names. — Soprano(talk) 21:20, May 18, 2024 (EDT)
