:It's already been worked out what's going on here – it's a problem with rounding. All the individual Pikmin attack strengths (the ones displayed next to each one) are rounded up to the next whole number. Then, the total attack strength at the top of the screen is the sum of all the rounded-up values. This causes the displayed value to be much higher than it was before. However, this new higher value isn't used for calculating score and time – the old value is. This means that the attack strength shown in-game is no longer an accurate indication of how strong the squad is. I've been thinking for a couple of days on what the best way to explain that in the article is, but I haven't worked it out yet, and I won't have much time to edit in the next few days. — Soprano(talk) 23:56, July 9, 2022 (EDT) | :It's already been worked out what's going on here – it's a problem with rounding. OK, thanks. Where was this worked out? Where should I read for Pikmin research?<br>
I've added a short note for now. Feel free to replace with something better. RupW (talk) 08:35, July 11, 2022 (EDT)
