:We just follow the English version. They're likely translation mistakes, though we also can't be sure if the localizers purposely added a father and an aunt. Alright, so to stop an edit war, Flamsey is particularly insistent on having the Nintendo Switch Pikmin 2 icons as the infobox images on this page, while I'm particularly insistent on having the clay art in the infoboxes.

About that dialogue line where Pitunia talks about being created in a "biocrafter". I looked the Japanese equivalent up on YouTube. It says『君は、私と同じ「生体工場」で生み出された存在なのか？…そんなわけないか』, which DeepL renders as "Are you a being created in the same 'biological factory' as me? …Of course not." Hello, I just noticed something odd. Translation related, about Alph's family in Pikmin 3. In English, Brittany says he has an older sister and a younger brother, to which Alph says he also has 12 older brothers, but apparently the Japanese (and Spanish, Italian...) version of the line just has him say he's the 13th of 15 siblings, leaving the gender of the older siblings ambiguous. And to make things more confusing, in French, he says he's the 13th of 15 "brothers and sister'''s'''". But I'm not sure how to document this inconsistency. Well, I've edited the article accordingly. Also gave Alph's sister her own section, due to her being mentioned several times. There's the voyage log, but also, outside of the English translation, when the Koppaites are worried about their family, he mentions her specifically (in English he just mentions his family in general).
