It may even be that ''all'' Pikmin have that trait, and that it somehow helps them survive, since other types of Pikmin drown before we can actually witness them being dissolved, and I can't really image why Blues would need such a defense and other Pikmin wouldn't. Due to the recent plaugeurism, I am watching this page until it is no longer a featured/targeted article. BTW water causes metal to oxidize, with is why Olimar thought it was an acid. Also, water with salt in it speeds the prosses of oxidation up.
