I was pointing it out because it's in the category "Harmless Enemies" and i thought this might have been overlooked because it isn't actually a harmless enemy (neither are breadbugs, although I doubt most people's pikmin have actually been killed by either of these) {{SUBST:User:Touch! :Ignore him. You'll see in the description of that category that it actually says enemies that can't kill Pikmin, "...or one or two very infrequently."
