:The Behind the Scenes section of writing looks really strange, and it goes really thin.  Also, two pictures are close together at the bottom of the article, so I did move the middle one up a bit, as it's not tied to any particular section.{{User:Greenpickle/sig}}

It's in one of the "journal" entries in Pikmin 1. Day 14: "Gradually, my repairs to the Dolphin continue. This ship is like a part of me. One could even say that it is tied to my very essence. If it were to corfirm that his mother was desceaced, it would probably say "sometimes I miss her." I know why olimar's weight varies in the games! In pikmin 1 he weighs his normal weight. In pikmin 2 he's lighter because he hasn't eaten much in the first game so he lost weight. In pikmin 3 he gained the weight back because after pikmin 2 he was able to eat again... In the [[Captain_Olimar#Pikmin_3|Pikmin 3 section of his biography]], it mentions that "He at one point writes in his diary that he is sick of the President getting everything, and how easy it would be to take just one piece of gold." I've never seen any entry like this in the game, which makes me question the validity of this claim. However, there is always the chance I missed it or that it could be a region specific comment. But it has no citation to the diary entry that mentions this.
