Hmm, I'm not sure. Without testing, I'd say you might only have to touch it, as that's what you have to do to get the other plants in the Piklopedia (I think?). But then, Candypop Buds are different, so maybe. Haven't got the time to test it right now, sorry.{{User:Greenpickle/sig}}

In Pikmin 1 Candypop Buds change 50 Pikmin and then wilt. Just wondering do they go permanatly or respawn after a few days. {{User:Loafy the Breadbug/sig}}

I think just adding a section at the end of the candypop family listing that although they have vastly different gameplay features the Onions are still a member of the family. It doesn't seem that big of a problem to warrant an extra page divulging people in two ways.
