This page will serve as a little talk page until we figure out if these black Pikmin are real, so nobody please change it.

OK, the fact that you have a picture of them isn't really proof they are real. Here are some I made myself. If you made them and didn't use a cheat device like I did, then tell me how you made them. Seriously, if this were true, than that would be just overwhelming! However, I think you found this somewhere on the internet or used the said cheating device. As long as these black carrots are not on my gamecube, this page is does not have any in-game aspects, and therefor will be deleted. I agree.  I think this site should only have information on things that the programmers put in the game for the player to see by normal means. ==REAL!== I will tell you. I just picked up a article on ign about getting black pikmin. It is actualy a mutated yellow pikmin. just take 50 yellows, 20 reds, and 30 blues. then, on impact site, give the yellow pikmin bomb rocks.. throw them into the water. only try it after day 15. then, end the day. the next day or 2 you go back to the water, they will be black!!!! try it 3 or 4 times!!

Man... 15 minutes of pure humiliation... I'm still surprised that I actually ''did'' this. I'm just glad nobody watched me. The most moronic moment must have been when the blues saved the drowning yellows. Soo, If you didn't already figure it out by now, no, it did not work. I tried it 3 times and waited 2 days every single time. ''NO'' black Pikmin. But seriously, why should there be any? We would have heard ''SO'' much more about them. Every single site that has something about Pikmin would have guides how to make these. I have the PAL version. If any of you guys has a different version and would sacrifice him/herself for the sake of this article, then please, go ahead. I'd say, if no one happens to get any black Pikmin in, how about, a week, then this page will be put to the deletion category. I have heard of this before, and it is achieved using a cheating device.  I saw it on a Youtube video.  I've moved all this to the talk page for now, whether this page is deleted or not.

I think it would be cool if Black pikmin existed but there is no proof that they do and therefore I will not believe in these things.

Anyway, I thought about this, and I bet Saggitarius didn't manage to get these either. So my conclusion is, if nobody has a proper reason to keep the page, I'll delete it tomorrow. Black Pikmin? Not Likely, the "Black Pikmin" are probably acheived through a cheating device or some sort of glith. Another possibility is that the pictures are fake and they don't exist at all. The page should be deleted either way.--[[User:Acejam|Acejam]] 20:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Maybe, just MAYBE, there might be black pikmin in pikmin 3 if it comes out.  A nice effect for black pikmin would be being able to make tunnels or something like that?  If not, then I've got no idea what black pikmin could do if they were in pikmin 3
