The '''Sagittarius''' ({{j|サジタリウス|Sajitariusu|Sagittarius}}) is a [[ship part]] featured in ''[[Pikmin (game)|Pikmin]]'' and [[Olimar's Shipwreck Tale]] in {{p4}}. It was a present given to [[Captain Olimar]] by his [[Olimar's son|son]] on [[Hocotate]]. It always reminds him of the memories of his son when he sees it, it also makes him wonder how worried his son is after Olimar's collision with the meteor. Though mandatory, it is revealed in the Japanese [[Pikmin Garden]] website to be merely decorative. After being collected, the Sagittarius appears on the ship's hull, starboard at cockpit level (to Captain Olimar's right when he is seated).

The Sagittarius reappears as a ship part in [[Olimar's Shipwreck Tale]] in {{p4}}. It is found in the [[Serene Shores]].

The part is on an island in the large lake inhabited by [[Wolpole]]s. Two bridges need to be built, one surrounded by [[Sheargrub]]s and the other on another island. [[Blue Pikmin]] are usually needed to retrieve this part, however it is possible to use tactical [[throw]]s to obtain the part with just [[Yellow Pikmin]]. The Pikmin must be thrown with a running start toward the small ledge on the right 'shore' of the island the Sagittarius is on, then Olimar must run over to this ledge and call the Pikmin that should have landed in front of it. They should reach him just before drowning, and can then be thrown to build the bridge. This cannot be done in the ''[[New Play Control! Pikmin]]'' version of the game. The similar-working [[Glitches in Pikmin#Drowning reset|drowning reset glitch]] also works.

The part is inside a [[Pearly Clamclamp]], found south of the [[Blossoming Dunes]] base. The enemy must be defeated to retrieve it; if Blue Pikmin are used to carry the part back, the enemies inside the nearby lake should be defeated as well. If [[Red Pikmin|Red]] or Yellow Pikmin are used, a [[clipboard]] must be pulled down using 20 Yellow Pikmin.

==Trivia==
*Like the [[Libra]], it may be named after the {{w|Sagittarius constellation}}.
*Even though the Libra and the Sagittarius are the same size when shown on the S.S. Dolphin, their sizes before being retrieved are different, and the Libra takes only 15 Pikmin to carry while the Sagittarius takes 20. In Olimar's Shipwreck Tale, both the Libra and the Sagittarius have a weight of only 5.
