[[Captain Olimar|Olimar]] thinks this treasure is hideous, in humorous contrast to his feelings of the [[Paradoxical Enigma]], which he apparently perceives as a beautiful work of art.

A [[Bumbling Snitchbug]] may be near it so you may need to take it out before you collect the prize. The Rubber Ugly is actually a rubber ducky. It is so ugly that its ugliness that can destroy all beauty drives deep despair into the heart of the beholder. This hideous item is a must-have for connoisseurs of all things wretched and repellant.

This treasure is in the [[Shower Room#Sublevel 6|Shower Room's 6th sublevel]]. It is likely to be found in [[water]], which means [[Blue Pikmin]] are required to get it. A [[Bumbling Snitchbug]] may be nearby, so take it out before collecting the treasure.
The Rubber Ugly, in the beta version of the game, was found in an unknown cave, definately not the Shower Room, and had a slightly different appearance, as its eyes were different.

*The Rubber Ugly could also be found in an early version of the game. It was placed in an unknown [[cave]], definitely not the Shower Room, and had a different appearance.
*It could be said that the Rubber Ugly is what represents treasures in ''Pikmin 2'', since it appears as the icon whenever the game needs to refer to treasures: it is the icon used on the saved game selection menu for the number of treasures, and the icon for the [[Treasure Hoard]] button while on the area selection screen. It is also the first treasure when listed alphabetically by the treasures' internal names (<code>ahiru</code>), and has the treasure ID of <code>0</code>.
