The '''Repugnant Appendage''' | The '''Repugnant Appendage''' is a treasure in [[Pikmin 2]], it is really a pink dirty shoe with a velcro strap, it also has a teddy bear on it. It is found on the last (8) sublevel of the [[Frontier Cavern]], and is held by an [[Empress Bulblax]] that gives birth to offspring, the infamous vermin known as [[Bulborb Larva]]e. When retrieved, it unlocks the [[Rush Boots]], special footware allowing you to run much faster, so fast, only flowered [[White Pikmin]] can catch up. The Rush Boots also prevent [[Puffy Blowhog|Puffy Blowhogs]] from blowing captains away with their nasal blasts. | ||

This is arguably the worst treasure to obtain for the Exploration Kit. This is because this allows you to run faster, but not your pikmin. Meaning that Captain must wait up for their pikmin to catch up. This can be a problem on timed objectives on the surface, along with times of crisis when pikmin need to move from a leathal danger. The Only type of Pikmin that can still keep up is White Flower Pikmin. Even Flower pikmin of other color have the speed of leaf pikmin ifCaptain Olimar did not have the Repugnant Appendage. | |||
