The Rush Boots are a modification to the [[captain]]s' footwear by [[The Ship]] that allows them to run faster, at the same speed as flowered [[White Pikmin]]. They work by reducing air resistance and so allowing the captains to have greater speed. The Rush Boots also renders the blowing attack of [[Puffy Blowhog|Puffy]] and [[Withering Blowhog]]s ineffective against captains. They can however be a hindrance, as the Pikmins' speed is not increased so they fall behind, are harder to control and often get stuck where going around corners. | |||
