They are carrots that are used in the pikipedia to throw at the anamals to get them to wake up or come up from the ground or anything also. Gold pikpik carrots are the same but gold. Louie was sopost to sead a shipment of them but Louie ate them becuse he could not stop his hunger. Seen in the secret movie you get from geting all pink flowers in challege mode.

In-game, they float slightly above ground, and are animated in a fashion similar to that of regular Pikmin, except their model only moves and stretches; they don't bend.
