The '''sand sink-pit''' is an obstacle in {{p2}}. It is only found in two sublevels, each of different [[cave]]s, making it one of the rarest obstacles in the game. It is a constantly moving sandy pit that will slowly drag the player, their Pikmin, and even [[enemy|enemies]] closer to its center. It is always found in the same type of sublevel, which is highly similar to the [[Pileated Snagret]] arena.
Spiked pine cones are found in one area only : the [[Terror Trench]], which is the third main [[area]] of the [[Sweltering Parchlands]]. In this level, they chase down [[Olimar]] in long, narrow hallways. They kill any Pikmin that touch them, they harm the player and there's no way to destroy those obstacles.
