Santi is a freelance pilot. His name alludes to {{w|St. Bernard (dog)|St. Bernard dogs}}. He is from the planet [[Nijo]], and according to him, he was born right next to [[Bernard]]. He has has a bizarre form of bad luck where Bernard will always be present (and always succeeding) at the next location he goes to, even when Bernard is completely unaware of Santi's next destination. It took Santi about three months to get his pilot's license, and Bernard was, much to his chagrin, his driving instructor. Santi was flying the participants of Satella Travel's Uncharted Planet Tour when their ship crashed.

Sheeba is an uncharted planet tourist and founder of [[Alayon Academy]]'s Planetary Science Club. Her name alludes to {{w|Shiba Inu}} dogs. She is from the planet [[Neechki]]. She frequently puts pressure on other students and their teacher Mika to go on schools trips and was the driving force behind their trip to PNF-404, a fact which Sheeba later comes to regret. She is interested in becoming a teacher like Mika in the future.

Keesh is an uncharted planet tourist and member of the Planetary Science Club. Her name alludes to {{w|Kishu}} dogs. She is from the planet [[Neechki]]. She is interested in geology and sometimes goes out to dig for minerals; Sheeba claims that this has made Keesh physically stronger than the other two students and Mika combined.

Kaia is an uncharted planet tourist and member of the Planetary Science Club. Her name alludes to {{w|Kai Ken}} dogs. She is from the planet [[Neechki]]. She has a habit of calling Mika by the nickname "Meeki", which Sheeba criticizes.

She became a teacher shortly after college and views herself as inexperienced, believing that the students did better than her at handling the crisis when they were separated from each other. She mostly teaches ethics and knows little of natural science. Mika enjoys being called "Meeki" by Kaia, but admits that such nicknames are inappropriate in a school setting.

Alpin is the CEO of the telecommunications company [[e-Leader]]. His name alludes to {{w|Alpine Mastiff}} dogs. He is from the planet [[Conohan]] and is the twin brother of [[Beaux]]. He is interested in expanding his business to other areas such as tourism and food, and relies greatly on Fawks for advice in this.

Fawks is a venture capitalist. His name alludes to {{w|Foxhound}} dogs. He is from the planet [[Conohan]]. He once owned multiple IT companies but decided to sell them to become an investor. He has recently worked as a business advisor and came to PNF-404 with Alpin so that he could play a part in setting up their next business.

Beaux is a television actor. His name alludes to {{w|Bordeaux Mastiff}}s. He is from the planet [[Conohan]] and is the twin brother of [[Alpin]]. After his rescue, his experience on PNF-404 gives him inspiration to star in "Carrot Planet", a film series whose plots closely mirror those of the real-life [[Pikmin series|''Pikmin'' video games]].

The first spam message the player will receive is from a person who is apparently very lonely and wants a friend to listen to their troubles.{{cite quote|I am so lonely...
