The first section of the sublevel contains three [[Female Sheargrub]]s and the [[Director of Destiny]] atop a flowerpot, along with several [[breakable pot]]s strewn about the room; some are blocking the way forward. Destroy the pots to continue on and ahead will be a lone [[Snowy Blowhog]] battling five wild [[Ice Pikmin]]. Assist the Ice Pikmin in their endeavors to persuade them to join the [[squad]]. Continue along the path to find a much more open room. Several Sheargrubs, both [[Male Sheargrub|male]] and [[Female Sheargrub|female]], find their home in this section. To the left is a [[paper bag]] that can be pushed down to open a shortcut, and an empty flowerpot that holds a pile of [[raw material]]. To the right is a stack of bricks concealing another empty pot, this time holding a bulb of [[Flarlic]]. Break the pots with a rush to collect some more Ice Pikmin and gain access to the Flarlic. In a large bush, the [[Refreshing Goo]] can be found hiding. Directly opposite to the original entrance to this room lie two clumps of [[hydro jelly]]. Freeze them with the Ice Pikmin, then destroy them with the rest of your squad. Beyond the hydro jellies are both the exit and the [[castaway]] Oatchi had sniffed out when entering the cave. Retrieve the castaway and proceed to exit the cave.
Being one of the first caves in the game, this sublevel is relatively simple. Destroy the [[breakable pot]]s with a rush to find some [[nectar]] and collect any treasures you find. Defeat the [[Snowy Blowhog]] nearby to discover [[Ice Pikmin]] and collect the [[Refreshing Goo]] and [[Flarlic]] in the next room. You can lower the [[paper bag]] to unlock a shortcut to carry items quicker. Use Ice Pikmin to freeze and destroy the [[hydro jelly]] blocking the path towards the [[castaway]] and the exit.
