In {{p4}}, a poisonous variant of the Kingcap can be found. It is rarer than its normal counterpart, only being found in 2 caves, the [[Doppelgänger's Den]] and the [[Engulfed Castle]]. It functions nearly identically to normal Kingcaps, except it can only be attacked by [[White Pikmin]], [[Glow Pikmin]] and [[Oatchi]] with the {{Oatchi|Sniff Saver}} due to the poison emitting from it.
