The '''King of Bugs''' ({{j|虫の王|Mushi no Ou|King of Bugs}}) is a [[treasure]] in {{p2}}, and is the final one listed in the [[Treasure Hoard]]. The treasure is actually [[Louie]], rescued from the [[Titan Dweevil]] in sublevel 14 of the [[Dream Den]]. Even after he is brought back, the player continues to control [[the President]] as the secondary leader from there on. The reason given by the crew to store him with the pile of treasure is because there is no room for him in the cockpit.{{cite quote|Louie? ... ... ... Are your life functions fading? ... No! The '''King of Bugs''' is actually just [[Louie]]. [[Olimar]] saved him after the [[Titan Dweevil]] (fourteenth sublevel of the [[Dream Den]]) was defeated, and apparently, it was advisable to put him in the Ship's Pod because there are only two seats in the Ship. Louie now insists that everyone address him by his "proper title", the King of Bugs. According to the sales pitch in the Treasure Hoard, Louie hijacked a "colossal insect's brain". It's suggested that this colossal insect is in fact the Titan Dweevil, and Louie used it to attack Olimar. Olimar himself claims the possibility that Louie was in control of the Titan Dweevil is absurd, but the Ship approves of this theory.
