Anyway, I don't agree with calling the "Armored Cannon Larva" name a mistake. Different species having the same common name is a thing that happens, since common names aren't made by scientists. The situation with the Strong-Armed Cannon Beetle is interesting, but because it's not clear what the name refers to, I don't think it's all that relevant here. undo
