The Gyroid Bust (Mr.ハニー) is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is a haniwa, resembling the ones found in Animal Crossing series, where these items are called "Gyroids". It is found on sublevel 7 of the Bulblax Kingdom.

Collecting the treasure
The Gyroid Bust is a haniwa, resembling the ones found in Animal Crossing and its sequels, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. In the Animal Crossing games, the items are called 'Gyroids'. These items sit next to the players house, and possess a cap that makes them resemble a fire hydrant. In real life, these are called haniwas. The treasure in Pikmin 2 is found on the last (7th) sublevel of the Bulblax Kingdom, and can be acquired right after the Emperor Bulblax is defeated, as well as the Forged Courage, which unlocks the Scorch Guard for the Exploration Kit.
guide
The Gyroid Bust is found on the seventh sublevel of the Bulblax Kingdom, and can be collected right after the Emperor Bulblax is defeated. It is recommended to first obtain the Scorch Guard by bringing the Forged Courage from the Bulblax to the ship. The leaders will then be able to guide the Red Pikmin to the treasure without fear of being damaged by fire geysers.

"My son tells me that this type of figurine is all the rage with the kids. The strangest things amuse kids! When I was a kid, we were lucky if we were allowed to even talk about figurines! PS: When I found this figurine, it had been placed so that it was protected by a wall of flame. My research isn't complete, but I think it may have been a shrine of some kind."

*The Gyroid Bust is a haniwa, which are often buried with the dead or set on a mound near the grave. The fact that it is buried deep within the Bulbax Kingdom suggests that this cave was a tomb.

Trivia
*Haniwa are often buried with the dead or set on a mound near the grave. The fact that it is buried within the deepest part of the Bulblax Kingdom suggests that this cave was a tomb. Olimar further supports this theory in his journal entry for the treasure, calling it "a shrine of some kind".
*The Gyroid Bust is mentioned in the description of Ancient Statue Head, a treasure that is found in a similar place in Pikmin 4.
