The Glow seed is an item introduced in ''Pikmin 4''. It can spawn 1 ''Glow Pikmin'' when used. It can only be used on [[Night expedition|Night Expeditions]] or [[cave]]s. You get 1 Glow Seed for each 5 Glow Pikmin propagated. At the end of a Night Expedition, or after ending it, the game will count up the Pikmin you have add turn them into Glow Seeds.
The '''Glow Seed''' is a [[pack]] item introduced in ''Pikmin 4'' that can spawn 1 [[Glow Pikmin]] when used. The player gets 1 Glow Seed for each 5 Glow Pikmin propagated during a night expedition. This includes the starting Glow Pikmin, those grown normally, and those created by Glow Seeds, and Glow Pikmin that die over the course of a night will not take away from this total. Glow Seeds are added to the player's inventory at the end of a night expedition. A Glow Seed counts as a Pikmin grown for [[François]]'s [[Mission (Pikmin 4)|mission]] when it is generated, not when it is planted.
