First, have a [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Pikmin_family <span style="color:#337813">Pikmin</span>] carry a [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Treasure_Hoard <span style="color:#337813">treasure</span>] (or [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Piklopedia <span style="color:#337813">beast</span>] in story mode), and just as the object is being beamed into the [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Research_Pod <span style="color:#337813">Research Pod</span>] or [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/The_ship?action=edit&redlink=1 <span style="color:#cc2200">ship</span>], quit the [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Challenge_Mode_(Pikmin_2) <span style="color:#337813">level</span>] or leave the [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Cave <span style="color:#337813">cave</span>]. the cutscene will initiate with the beast or treasure floating, and smaller than its original size. This glitch is possible to perform with cutscene-triggering items, but this method is much harder.</p>
