It is located on the eighth sublevel of the [[Cavern of Chaos]]. This item is usually in a dead-end and may be surrounded by a multitude of [[Dwarf Bulborb]]s or a pair of [[Gatling Groink]]s. Attack the former from above and assault the latter from behind with [[Purple Pikmin]]. The Fruit Guard is an aluminum can of {{w|Tree Top, Inc.|Tree Top}} brand apple juice.

In the [[Pikmin 2 (Nintendo Switch)|Switch port]], the treasure is an unbranded can of apple juice.
