Editing Forum:Naming Standards

We're going to have to decide once and for all which to have:
*Capitalise all words in article titles except small ones like "of" and "to"; or
*Capitalise only the first word and proper nouns.

Discuss, so that I can start fixing them.  Also, in-article headings is another matter; for that, I definitely think the second of the above would be right.{{User:Greenpickle/sig}} 11:33, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, why did you start changing it??? Look in any encyclopedia (a actuall book) and ther titles are capitaized. When only "first words" are capitalized, we are putting the title into sentence form, which it is not. At least in the US...

Also, all titles at places like youtube, google news, ect. are capitalized with everything. - [[User:IAMAHIPO_ocolor|ocolor]] ([[User talk:IAMAHIPO_ocolor|talk]])

I was basing it on Wikipedia and every other Wiki that exists.  YouTube's titles are typed by video creators, so that's irrelevant.  Yes, most news sites and on-paper texts prefer to capitalise most words.  Looks like we still need to discuss, then.
