We should have a fan art contest! Come up with what ever. This may seem out of place on a wiki, but c'mon, the whole reason we do this is because we love Pikmin. ::Not at all. I find that black and white pictures have a certain charm; something nostalgic. I've never really drawn something video-game related. Considering Pikmin, it'll probably be something ambient.  ...I am really bad at drawing surroundings. A challenge, but I've got time now and will give it a try.--{{User:Prezintenden/sig}}

:::Whenever I draw something, I tend to make the background very simple, unless there's a specific reason for making it complex.  This is so that it doesn't detract from the focus, and so that it's easier.  Anyway, seeing as it's the weekend, I may as well give it a try.  Right now I'm thinking of trying to convey the suffering of the Pikmin, having been recently inspired by the lyrics to Ai no Uta again, but I'm not really at all experienced in drawing living things. :I'm still getting to know how to draw distance-to-size relations. The pictures messed up, so I don't know how to continue with this. Although, I did make a deranged paper-mâche Puffy Blowhog with the help of a balloon when Pikmin 1 first came out. I might upload that for humourous uses.--{{User:Prezintenden/sig}}

I am really a good visualizer, and idea person, but suck at drawing. When I upload mine sometime in the next few days, take that into account. Also, i thin it is quite moving :O

:::Wait, why do you have a doubled-up sig?  Anyway, I think I prefer the first one; the grassy/foresty textures in the second, while fine, do look a little out of place, and the composition doesn't seem so good. ::::Yeah, I've got to fix my sig.  As for the other comments, I used real textures in the first picture, but they weren't as obvious. As I said, I just made this one fast.  I'll try to make my own background next time. Also, I thought there was too much blank space when I was making it, too, but I was too lazy to go back and add more things. Thanks for the advice! (...My goodness this thread is old. Still on the subject of fanart...) I actually enjoy drawing a lot, usually I don't draw Pikmin but this year I have been on a Pikmin kick. Obviously...my userpage was drawn by me but I have other programs and such, it was just a quick sketch. I should draw some of the enemies or really anything else from the series soon, I have a lot of Olimar, Louie and various Pikmin though.
