I tried searching, but somehow, even -garry and -gmod won't get rid of all the search results for GMod pikmin. ParadoxJuice 17:09, 21 October 2010 (EDT)

:Do console games normally get mods?  I kind of doubt it.  Edit: oh, meh, emulation.  Is GCN emulation mature enough yet that sufficient tools are available and mods are starting to spring up?  But then again, Wii games have them...

:My answer is: I have no idea. <span style="font-family:times;"><span style="color:#080;">G</span><span style="color:#050;">P</span></span>

::Uh, can you clarify?

:::Well, in PC games, modding is about editing the game's files. In consoles, it's more about extensive gameshark codes. But even then, some console games can have their files changed, like Brawl. There are at least 2 big mods for Brawl: Brawl - and Brawl +. Someone could, in theory, mod either Pikmin game, preferably on the NPC version (because it's on the Wii), but I doubt somebody will want to take part in such a project. But in all, to answer ParadoxJuice's question: no, there most likely is no mod for either game. The best thing you can find are some gameshark codes that change Olimar's colors, and maybe the behavior of some of the game's aspects, and that's it. Maybe when Pikmin 3 comes out, it'll be such a blast that there will be several mods for it. Also, mods can also be made on an emulator, but GC/Wii emulation is still quite young, so no dice. ::::Oh, oops, never mind, I didn't look at the title. And no, there aren't any mod programs for Pikmin or Pikmin 2 that I know of, although you could mod it the hard way if you really wanted to.

There are mods... Mwa haa haa! No really. They exist. -Peanut64 (Talk)

:Could you please exemplify? If they truly exist, things might get interesting. {EspyoT} 19:36, 30 October 2010 (EDT)

:If anyone has Dolphin, the gamecube emulator for the PC, you can go to thepiratebay and look up mod torrents or RAR files that you can install to Dolphin. But you need a powerful computer for Dolphin.
