Editing Flarlic

A '''Flarlic''' ({{j|ガーリップ|Gārippu|Garlip}}) is an object in {{p4}} that increases the [[Pikmin limit]] for Pikmin out in the field. A Flarlic resembles a colorless [[Onion]], and as its name suggests, it also resembles a garlic bulb. Once collected and brought to the Onion, 10 more Pikmin will be allowed out in the field up to a maximum of 100. Each Flaric [[weight|weighs]] 5 units with a maximum carrier count of 10. In area summaries, a Flarlic is considered an Onion.

Flarlic that is collected when the Pikmin limit is already at 100 will instead produce [[nectar]] and [[ultra-spicy nectar]].

In the main story, there are 12 Flarlics to find, 2 in each area. Only the first 8 collected allow the Pikmin field population to increase. In [[Olimar's Shipwreck Tale]], there are only 8 Flarlics, half of which are found in the Serene Shores.

 

** Partially buried on a high ledge near the [[Temporal Mechanism]]. [[Yellow Pikmin]] are recommended.

** Behind a group of pots requiring [[Oatchi]] or a [[bomb rock]] to break down.

 

** Near the cave [[Cavern for a King]]. A clay mound is needed to access the area, which requires 15 [[raw material]].

** In the desert part of the map, guarded by a group of [[Skutterchuck]]s, with two of them holding a [[bomb rock]].

** Near the Fragrant Ravine base, after a slope requiring 24 [[raw material]]s.

**Where the [[Dawn Pustules]] are located in the main game, submerged in a body of water in the southeastern section of the map, near a [[Pricklepuff]].

**Buried on top of the sand mound where the [[Stellar Extrusion]] is located in the main game, on the sandcastle structure.

**Hanging from a spider web where the two [[Chance Totem]]s are located in the main game, northwest of the Blossoming Dunes base.

**Perched where the [[Lamp of Inspiration]] is located in the main game.

{{transcript|While it doesn't sprout or create Pikmin, this specimen is still a type of Onion. A bulb like this one can be divided into seven segments, is highly nutrient dense, and contains strong energizing and analeptic effects.

The compounds responsible for its characteristic smell resemble Onion growth hormones. When absorbed by an Onion, it fulfills a critical role in Pikmin proliferation by increasing the total number of Pikmin that can be withdrawn from the Onion at any given time.

Just like Onions, it contains muscle fibers, but flarlic has no animalistic qualities to speak of. However, if you place one near an Onion, it may start to move a bit, as though it's trying to roll over so it can be absorbed.|block=y}}
