Community Day was the first public event for {{pb}}. *[[Big Flower]]s bloomed into pansies, and [[flower planting]] with pansies made them bloom into roses.
**This effect started the day before and continued throughout the weekend.

The second public event of ''Pikmin Bloom'' was also a Community Day. For the effects of this event to work properly, the app needed to be updated to at least [[Update|version]] 36.0. Rewards and boosts for participating in this event include:

During this event, the [[Pikmin Bloom interface#Step counter|step counter]] on the [[Pikmin Bloom interface#Main menu|main menu]] was replaced with a special poinsettia-themed step counter graphic, which linked to the [[Pikmin Bloom interface#News|news menu]] when tapped before reaching the goal, and the badge's information page after reaching the goal. This made the regular step counter inaccessible.

For a limited time centered around Christmas, Roadside-type [[Decor Pikmin]] wore special holiday-themed stickers instead of the standard letter stickers. This applied to any Pikmin sprouted during this period, regardless of when it reached Decor status. It started on {{date|21|December|2021}} after being announced the day before,{{cite web|https://twitter.com/PikminBloom/status/1472808992120389633|Tweet by Pikmin Bloom|Twitter|published={{date|20|December|2021}}|retrieved={{date|21|December|2021}}}} and finished on {{date|11|January|2022}}. This is the first event to introduce limited-time special Decor Pikmin. This event was announced on {{date|13|January|2022}}. The change to the main menu seen in the second Community Day returned in this event, this time with a camellia-themed step counter. Following the event, [[challenges]] gave camellia nectar instead of poinsettia nectar.

==== Lunar New Year Decor Pikmin ====

The second limited-time Decor Pikmin in ''Pikmin Bloom'' are the Lunar New Year Decor Pikmin. This type of Decor Pikmin are more likely to be found where seedlings haven't been discovered before,{{cite web|https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/23-pikmin-bloom/faq/3244-lunar-new-year-decor-pikmin/|Help article|Niantic Support}} and are grown from Huge Seedlings marked with a modified Niantic logo (which replaces the sails with the Pikmin series logo.) This Decor is only for [[Red Pikmin]], [[Blue Pikmin]], and [[Yellow Pikmin]]. The event was announced on social media{{cite web|https://twitter.com/PikminBloom_jp/status/1488346388702314508|Tweet by Pikmin Bloom Japan|Twitter|published={{date|1|February|2022}}}} in Japan, the News section of the app. It runs from {{date|1|February|2022}} to {{date|10|February|2022}}. There is also another bonus effect, where Special Slots in the [[Shop]] cost 25% less.
