After arriving at the event's gift distribution location, Kourokan Square, ticket holders received a Pikmin-themed paper sun visor of choice, a paper wristband, and a map. Each designated location on the map had a Special Spot, and swiping down while viewing that [[Special Spot]] from nearby would give the participant a Gold Seedling of a specific location type, and 40 cherry blossom [[nectar]]. There was also Photo Spots at 3 of the locations, which for the first time, were marked on the map.
 
There were also 3 special missions in the Challenge List, which could be attempted simultaneously. One was to walk 7000 steps, and completing it gave a Gold Seedling that would grow into a Red Pikmin with Present Sticker (Gold) decor.
