The '''Essence of True Love''' ({{j|宇宙愛のモニュメント|Uchū Ai no Monyumento|Monument of Space Love}}) is one of the [[treasure]]s found in ''[[Pikmin 2]]''. It is actually a cushion cut {{w|sapphire}} mounted on a square gold or brass loop. It is located on the second sublevel of the [[Hole of Heroes]]. This level is filled with [[Swooping Snitchbug]]s, [[Bumbling Snitchbug]]s, and other flying enemies. Before retrieving it, defeat the [[Antenna Beetle]] and the [[Anode Beetle]]s, as the former poses a hinderance in finding this treasure and the latter can pose a threat to your non-[[Yellow]] Pikmin. Locate the treasure with the [[Treasure Gauge]] and bring it to the [[Hocotate ship#Research Pod|Ship's Pod]]. Watch out for Snitchbugs and [[Careening Dirigibug]]s, which can cause disaster to unattended groups of [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]].
