The '''Essence of Despair''' ({{j|グリーン・アイ|Gurīn Ai|Green Eye}}) is a treasure in ''[[Pikmin 2]]'', found on the second sublevel of the [[Cavern of Chaos]]. This treasure is actually a round cut {{w|emerald}} mounted on a round silver loop, which makes it resemble the [[Sagittarius]] and [[Libra]] from {{p1}} in that respect. This jewel is dropped by one of three [[Fiery Bulblax]]es, so [[Red Pikmin]] are a must when retrieving it.
