The '''Courage Reactor''' is actually a D [[Wikipedia:Duracell|Duracell]] battery that is stated to expire in 2010 on the side. It is the first treasure that can be collected in ''[[Pikmin 2]]'', and can be found partially buried in the [[Valley of Repose]]. Upon retrieval the ship is satisfied with the day's work and the first day is completed. Despite being found by [[Captain Louie|Louie]], both [[Captain Olimar|Olimar]] and Louie are needed to collect this. To retrieve it, gather all the [[pellets]] in the area, including the [[Dwarf Red Bulborb]]. After obtaining twenty [[Pikmin Family|Pikmin]], have them dig it out of the ground and carry it to the ship.

In the Japanese version of ''Pikmin 2'', the item is a "National Hi-Top" battery, a Japanese brand of battery. Strangely, on the website supporting the play it on the wii version for U.S, it also shows a "National Hi-Top" battery too.
