This is a strategy that functions in both Pikmin titles and is allows Pikmin to be thrown much more quickly. | |||
*Simply tilt the C-stick in a direction so the Pikmin are near your pilot keeping the group centred around him, rotating the C-stick as necessary. | |||
*Rapidly press the 'A' button, unleashing a wave of Pikmin. | |||
This strategy makes throwing Pikmin faster since you don't have to wait the fraction of a second for a Pikmin to approach your pilot to be thrown. It saves very little time on a single throw, but when throwing large groups every second will help. This may also work for killing mature [[Bulborb|Bulborbs]] or enemies with high health. | |||
This is slightly less useful in Pikmin 2, because the Pikmin are thrown faster anyway. | |||
