In Pikmin 3, bomb rocks immediately explode if crushed by a Yellow Wollywog. If a Yellow Wollywog lands on a bomb rock that has been thrown but has not yet exploded, the bomb rock will prematurely explode, but the light effects of the about-to-explode bomb rock will continue to play as usual. This is a purely visual bug and does not affect gameplay in any way. | In Pikmin 3, bomb rocks immediately explode if crushed by a Yellow Wollywog. Also in Pikmin 3, in the Tropical Wilds and Formidable Oak, and also a few stages in side modes, there are dirt mounds with bomb rocks inside. Tossing a Pikmin into it will have it dig up the bomb rocks inside. If you whistle on the mound the moment a bomb rock comes out, then throw another Pikmin into it, said other Pikmin will bring out another bomb rock. This process can be repeated indefinitely, but only 20 bomb rocks can be outside in an area at a time, so once this cap is reached, nothing will come out of the dirt mound. This bug was not patched in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. | |||
