The '''Aristocrab Offspring''' ({{j|カニンコ|Kaninko|Crab Offspring}}) is an [[enemy]] in {{p4}}. As the name implies, they are a smaller and younger version of the [[Peckish Aristocrab]]. They share many of the same traits, like sidestepping, blowing [[bubble]]s, and using their enlarged claw to attack. One unique trait to the hatchlings is that they can sometimes hide underground to surprise their enemies.

The Aristocrab offsping acts roughly the same as an adult Aristocrab, but is overall much weaker. They can only eat 2 Pikmin at a time as opposed to the 3 that an adult can. Shoots out less bubbles and can't stand up to avoid a charge. They sometimes hide underground before coming out when the player comes close. They also, of course, have much less health.

With its low health and overall relatively low threat level, these offsprings are quite easy to deal with. You can simply use Oatchi to charge at it with a squad of [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] and that should finish it off pretty quickly. Unlike the [[Peckish Aristocrab]], the offsprings cannot avoid a charge by simply standing tall and then coming back down, so charging them is quite effective at destroying them.
