The Anxious Sprout (ソダチノコ) is a treasure found in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 4. It is a bamboo sprout. In Pikmin 2, the treasure is found on sublevel 5 of the Bulblax Kingdom, a sublevel known for its extreme darkness, Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Orange Bulborbs, and its maze-like layout along with many bomb-rocks. The Anxious Sprout is also present in two Challenge Mode levels: Once in the Novice Training, sublevel 1 and once in the Hot House, sublevel 1.
In Pikmin 4, it is likewise found in a dangerous cave, the Kingdom of Beasts on sublevel 2, and is once again found buried, this time entirely. It is also present in the Giant's Hearth near two Dwarf Bulbears. Additionally, it is present in 3 Dandori Challenge levels: Once in the Rockaway Cellars, three times in the Oasis of Order and once in the 8th Story of the Trial of the Sage Leaf.

It is mostly buried in the ground, with only a small tip visible. Use White Pikmin to quickly dig it out. Be careful while digging it out, because there is a good chance this will trigger a bomb-rock to fall onto your working Pikmin.
